About the role:
At Ideamotive, we're looking for a junior Ruby on Rails engineer with analytical skills, who'll help us develop our core product. You will be able to grow and develop your skills in the area of software development in RoR and data analytics/engineering (Python, DBT, Looker). You'll work and learn under a supervision of our CTO.
Your responsibilities:
- Developing our core product in Ruby on Rails
- Participating in building data collection strategy, managing data entry points,
- Building data analytics pipelines,
- Visualizing data,
- Analysing data, anomalies detection and reporting
Requirements
Must have:
- Experience in Ruby on Rails programming
- basic experience in Python (or similar language),
- Knowledge of http communication and REST architecture principles,
- experience in SQL and designing databases
- be a student or graduate in computer science, physics, math or similar
Good to have:
- Experience in ETL/ELT pipelines, Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, DataStudio
- experience in Docker
