Mediatask produces highly customized visuals for the real estate business. They hire top draftsmen to deliver top-quality drawings on a mass scale to clients all around the world. The heart of their business, along with the people, is the system that keeps track of the whole process. Thanks to automation, the Mediatask team has almost unlimited daily throughput.


Mediatask came to us with their existing system. They had been using the app for the last four years, but it reached its growth potential. Our primary challenge was making Mediatask a scalable company again. We had to make a decision about whether or not to continue with the existing solution.

During our partnership, we solved a number of business, technical and algorithmic challenges:

  • low trust towards software agencies in general, due to previous experiences
  • first agile project for the client
  • an old and outdated existing system
  • sophisticated business processes


We decided to completely rewrite the system - the old app was slow, buggy and not maintained. Our first milestone was to develop a clone of an existing app (using Ruby on Rails), including all data transforming and migration. We accomplished it successfully in less than two months. It opened a whole ocean of possibilities for process automation and cost reduction.

Solutions we implemented:

  • moving all the data to secure and scalable servers
  • recreating the Mediatask app in Ruby on Rails
  • maintaining a large number of assets (over 10 TB)
  • integration with the Google Documents API
  • developing an algorithm for automatic work assignments


During our partnership, Mediatask made massive progress in digital transformation. Most of their internal processes were automated. It resulted in a substantial cost reduction for the company. The more efficient processes using intelligent algorithms opened new scaling possibilities in both sales and employment.
